In many places around the world, employers cannot discriminate against potential employees because of gender, age, and marital status. Strange, but one of the things according to which they can sift out un-liked people is a sign of the zodiac.
It all began in 2009, when the Austrian company filed an announcement indicating that candidates should be born only under the signs of Leo, Aries, Aquarius, Taurus or Capricorn. As the company said, a scientific study showed them that the best workers in the country were born under these signs, so it was the easiest way to weed out weak candidates. And it is even stranger that the Austrian government supported the company when it came to court, recognizing that they had every right to reduce the number of candidates based on the sign of the zodiac. And at that time, while the Austrian company made it clear what signs they like, in 2011, a Chinese company indicated who they did not need - Scorpios and Virgos. This company stated that, in their experience, employees born under these signs worked poorly in a team or did not fulfill their duties, so employers took preventive measures to avoid problems with people born under these signs in the future. But the Chinese company did not stop at this, and announced that preference for hiring would be given to Capricorns, Pisces and Libra.
