Amalthea is one of the moons of Jupiter. Fifth in size and third in remoteness from Jupiter among all its satellites.
Amalthea was discovered SEPTEMBER 9, 1892 by Edward Emerson Barnard. Amalthea is named after the nymph Amalthea from Greek mythology, who looked after the baby Zeus (the Greek equivalent of Jupiter) and fed him goat milk.
The name Amalthea was not officially adopted by the IAU until 1976, although it has been in unofficial use for many decades. The name was originally proposed by the French astronomer Nicolas Camille Flammarion. Until 1976, Amalthea was best known simply as Jupiter V.
It is advisable to observe the satellites of the planets, since everything that happens to them unusual, is reflected in the position of the planet in the zodiac sign. Almost all planets have satellites. Few - on the inner, a lot - on the outer planets. Almost all of the giant planets have satellites, and they operate. They act through their planets, but allow you to reveal through them different signs of the zodiac. Especially when something unusual begins to appear through this planet.
Amalthea is associated with the position of Jupiter in Capricorn. That is, through all the countries of Capricorn, where Jupiter is to be restored, it will certainly manifest them in the form of something unusual, strange, mysterious, unpredictable.
